Actually I quite like Autumn and winter and all of the stunning colours that the seasons bring, unless it is constantly raining, not keen on muddy days.
The Garden furniture is all stacked and covered until April/May time when we hope we will be able to dine outside again in the Courtyard garden. The birds in the aviary really miss people being in the garden chatting and enjoying a nice meal, during winter they are very quiet but we cosy them in to protect them from the cold.
Berty lights the log burner in the tearoom first thing each day so that it is cosy and warm for when the first customers arrive at 10 am, Scones are freshly baked and are very popular, either Cheese or Fruit baked each morning by Ashley or Caz.
Have you tried our 'Breakfast in Bread' yet??
3 rashers of thick smoked Bacon
2 Sausages
2 fried Eggs
Served between two slices of thick Bloomer bread with a pot of piping hot baked beans, just delish and all local produce. it doesn't get much better or tastier than that!
We also serve bacon or sausage butties too for a lighter bite plus our very own blend of breakfast Tea/Coffee
During October we have welcomed two new traders to The SHED family so let's introduce them.
Penny has the loveliest mix of items to tempt you at brilliant prices with some lovely gift ideas for Christmas on her stand. She is so talented with her painted furniture pieces too!
Next we welcome Ruth of Cottage Coeurs, she trades at many vintage fairs and we are thrilled that she has chosen us for a permanent trading space. Her items are an eclectic mix of French, Vintage plus lots of other interesting pieces for the home.
Alison of SASS ladies boutique brings stunning ladies fashion to the SHED at great prices. Come along and have a look, there is a fitting room for you to try before you buy. Maybe you will find that perfect outfit for a Xmas party or some classy loungewear for home.
Don't forget our Edwardian Parlour has a few places left to book your own private dining experience. It can seat 16/18 people and even has its very own servants bell for you to use! Make sure that you book soon, not many spaces left... 01473 748519

The Teddy Bear & Dolls Hospital is busier than ever and bears have recently been sent to USA, Scotland, Isle of Wight plus many other counties. Matron is on duty to help you Tuesday-Friday after 11am so pop along with your treasured friend and she can triage and advise you on surgery required etc, no obligation at all.

We have been made members of The British Toymakers Guild for our outstanding restoration work on Teddy Bears and Dolls. How good is that? We feel very honored indeed.
Berty has welcomed a new puppy into his home, Brontie has settled beautifully and `Millie the Westie seems to like her new sister too. Brontie is a cross between a `Griffon and Mini Pinscher and is utterly beautiful. She comes to work with Berty each day so you might get to meet her if you pop in.

Next year on the 27th February 2026 we celebrate 10 years of The SHED. It seems to have gone by so quickly, we have made lots of new friends with us from the very beginning for which we are very grateful. Times are harder than ever for small businesses everywhere so please keep supporting us when you can. Sproughton would feel so empty without The SHED but we do need you to keep telling friends and family about us please.

Well thats if for now folks, stay safe and well and have a lovely time over Christmas. Our Memory Tree is up looking beautiful, feel free to pop a message on one of the tags for someone who has passed, someone lonely, lost pets or just a message to mankind.
Thankyou All,
Lesley
