Growing The SHED
It's been a while since our last post - that's because there have been so many exciting changes here at The SHED. We're delighted to be able to share with you all of the things that have been happening here, and to invite you to come and see for yourselves:
Tea at The SHED:
If Simon's standard fare of open sandwiches and paninis, cream teas and freshly-backed cakes weren't enough, he's also now offering two specials each week:
Every Wednesday is now 'Ladies' Day' - for £12.50 Simon offers a set two-course lunch (main and sweet), followed by tea or coffee
Sunday special - a whole roast chicken, potatoes, salad ,fresh bread with dipping oil and mango salsa is available for £16.00 for two people - who would you share yours with?

With the weather as it's been recently, why not take tea, elevenses, lunch or an afternoon break in our courtyard garden? As well as being a tranquil setting with lots of treasures to behold, we also have a new aviary - take a look around and come see it for yourself:
Repairs and renovations:
We have our own workshop onsite where we're happy to undertake repairs, renovations and restoration of your treasured furniture. We also love a commission - challenge us with your ideas and head on over to our website page that shows furniture we've created from reclaimed materials.
Black Dog Upholstery:
Ken and Gill offer a complete upholstery service from The SHED's workshop - with a dedicated area from which to breathe new life into old furniture, every care is taken to choose the right fabric and to give your treasured furniture a whole new lease of life.
From recovering to complete stripping and upholstery, let us know what you need and we'll chat about how to achieve it. Take a look at our website page for more examples of or work.
Black Dog Picture Framing:
Our newest service is bespoke picture framing. Headed by the very talented Helen, we will frame your work of art with the upmost care and attention.
Bring us your photographs, art works or crafts and we can discuss the type of mount and frame before setting to work in our dedicated picture framing workshop.

Belle Francais:
Finally, we're delighted that to welcome a new trader, Belle Francais into The SHED team - offering beautiful French treasure: furniture, enamelware, linens and much, much more, come and browse this beautiful room upstairs. We're launching this new area on 22nd July - come on over and take a look and partake of some free refreshments (cake!) to celebrate.
All in all, it's been quite a time for us; we're so proud of all of the team (and ourselves!) - we hope to see you all soon!
