New traders, taxidermy and the 'C' word

It's an exciting time for us here at The SHED - we've welcomed new traders to the showroom as well as getting all festive - we know it's November but, in our view, it's never to early to start getting ready for Christmas!

Every year, our Christmas tree is one of memories - we invite visitors to take a tag and write a message to those loved ones who won't be with us this Christmas. We're delighted that our traders are beginning to get all festive too - come and take a look at the lovely craft items that have begun to appear throughout The SHED.

On to other news - we've invited two new traders, Greg and Lisa to showcase their treasures at The SHED:

Greg has some amazing pieces of naturally sourced taxidermy and lots of other quirky items. Some of his pieces are Victorian and have been displayed in glass domes or cabinets. Items currently in the showroom include a diorama of birds, a shark's head, a beautiful goshawk in a case, a wall mounted badger's head and lots of other fascinating pieces. Greg is passionate about taxidermy and his collection is growing weekly:

New trader Lisa has an eclectic mix for sale in her space. She has a beautiful set of chapel chairs, antique croquet set, painted tables, glassware and much more - amazing quality pieces for your home and garden:

Our newly reopened tea room is proving to be popular - Ian and Jill make all of their own produce, some of which is baked here at The SHED daily. They are very welcoming and look forward to meeting new customers to sample their delights. The sausage rolls are exquisite and are "more sausage than roll" as Jill says. They offer jacket potatoes with a myriad of fillings, bacon bloomer, sandwiches, homemade soup and bread, cakes and pastries etc. The white hot chocolate is dreamy, topped with oodles of mini marshmallows.

So, time to head on over and start thinking about your Christmas shopping!? Sit in the comfort of Tea at the SHED - we know there's lots to see and lots to consider as our space is full of so many treasures. We look forward to seeing you soon

Lesley & Ken
