Introducing our traders

Having traded for six months now, we'd like to introduce you to our traders; some of them have been with us since the beginning, some are more recent arrivals. All of our traders help us to offer you the widest range of treasure and all have their own particular speciality and style. With so many different areas to choose from, we know you'd like to meet them all:

Miranda Acres

One of our newest traders, Miranda brings a variety of mid-century treasure to The Shed, specialising in furniture, kitchenalia, lighting and ornaments from the 1960s and 1970s.

Valerie Hayes

Valerie Hayes, cushions, ornaments, glassware

Walk into the Shed and up into our traders' room, and you'll find Valerie's wares at the top of the stairs to your left (although don't be surprised if we've shuffled things around - we like to shake things up every now and again!). Valerie's beautiful objets all have a certain finesse that will delight the most beautiful of homes.

Helen Williams

Helen's area offers you a fine mix of furniture, toys and objects from days gone by. Find something for each room in your house - from lighting and ornaments, from office furniture to items with an industrial feel.

Trevor Everett

Trevor brings a selection of the finest furniture and objets d'art to the Shed. Interesting basketware, framed maps and imagery and furniture to delight your home.

Jan Ort

Who doesn't need a large metal, painted star for their home? Jan, aka La Deco de Scarlett, brings a beautiful selection of pieces to the Shed. Vintage Laura Ashley sofas alongside glassware, mirrors and textile pieces - we know you'll find something to delight.

Tanya Timmis

Tanya, and her business, Paint Pot Cottage bring you some amazingly beautiful painted pieces of furniture in gorgeous colours, along with other interesting treasure. Tanya's furniture is enhanced with her ornamental offerings and artifacts - take a look around Tanya's space and enjoy objects with a top class finish.

Dan & Bronwyn

Dan & Bronwyn trade as Little Fox Furniture and offer an interesting selection of items from furniture and crockery; beautiful vintage tea sets, and delights to adorn the walls of your home.

Mike & Nicola

Horseshoe Antiques, as they're otherwise known, really do bring a host of eclectic treasure to The Shed - taxidermy, artwork and fantastically interesting pieces of furniture, mirrors and ornaments fill their space and make for lots to talk about as you walk around.

Sanchia brings a gorgeous range of quality pieces to the shed. From furniture to storage, mirrors to lighting, Sanchia's space is always filled with really interesting items that you'll love to browse.

Elaine Fensom

We love the amazing skill and creativity that Elaine brings to the shed - just look at this beautiful and clever hare painting. As well as displaying her work, Elaine is also happy to talk to customers about specific commissions.

Our industrial and garden room

As you enter our building in Sproughton, you'll walk though the first area which is dedicated to all things industrial as well as gardenware. Traders in this area are Les, Mike Aldridge, Phillip and Christine Aldridge and Richard Howells brings fireplaces to The Shed.

We hope this has given you a great insight into the huge variety of styles and tastes that our traders bring to The Shed. Next time, we'll focus on the selection of pieces that Ken and I offer ourselves. Come and see for yourself the amazing range of antiques, vintage and brocante that we have on offer... and we couldn't do it without our traders scouring the land to bring you the best.
